Terms & Conditions for the “Win a Trip to Japan” Competition November 2024

1. Organizer
This competition is organized by The Linea Home.

2. Eligibility

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Multiple entries are allowed, each order will count as one entry.
  • Employees of The Linea Home and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

  • Participants must place an order in between 28/10/24 - 08/12/24 and have successfully subscribe to our e-newsletter. 
  • The final winner for the “Win a Trip to Japan” will be announced on the 8/12/24. 
  • Each Sunday between 28/10/24 - 8/12/24, 5 smaller prizes will be announced leading up to final announcement. The following prizes could be won~
         - Gift Vouchers (€2/€5/€10/€20) or
         - Free Gift included in order
  • All entries must be received by every Sunday  between 28/10/24 - 8/12/24 before 9:30pm CET. Announcement would be at 10pm. Winners are still eligible for the final prize ~ 'a trip to Japan'! 
  • Final entry ~ the order has to be placed by 9:30pm CET 8th Dec. Any orders placed after that point will not be included.
  • *** Every €40 spent, customer will be qualified 1 entry (e.g. if you spend €41, you will get 2 entries), multiple entries are allowed!   

4. Prize

  • Each Sunday between 28/10/24 - 8/12/24, 5 smaller prizes will be announced leading up to final announcement. The following prizes could be won~
          - Gift Vouchers (€2/€5/€10/€20) or
          - Free Gift included in order
  • One winner will receive the final prize, 'a trip to Japan', which includes

       - Round-trip airfare from Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Tokyo, Japan in April 2025, just in time for sakura season.

  • The prize does not include the following~

       - Any transits to and from Schipol Airport, Amsterdam / Nakita Airport, Tokyo. Winners must make their way to the airports and it is at their own cost. 

       - Any necessary visas. 

       - Any accommodation.

       - Any insurances.

  • We are not responsible for any cost incurred for any cancellations from the airline and subsequent financial impact due to the cancellations         
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

5. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be selected randomly from eligible entries on each Sunday between  3/11/24 - 8/12/24 at 10pm CET on our social media outlets.
  • The winner will be notified by email within 3 business days after the draw.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days, a new winner will be selected.

6. Use of Personal Information

  • By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purpose of administering the competition and awarding the prize.
  • Personal information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for prize fulfillment.

7. Liability

  • The Linea Home is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained as a result of participating in this competition or accepting the prize.
  • The Linea Home reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition at any time.

8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the EU. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the EU.

9. Acceptance of Terms
By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
